Her academic background includes a law degree from the University of Melbourne and a postgraduate diploma from the College of Law, where she also served as an adjunct lecturer. She also holds a degree in psychophysiology and psychology with first-class honors from Swinburne University. Bonnie’s expertise spans a wide range of family law matters, including property division, parenting disputes, child support, family violence intervention orders, grandparent access, and ex-parte recovery orders.

Outside of her professional life, Bonnie enjoys reading, camping, skiing, and spending quality time with her family.

I strongly recommend families in crisis to make time to engage Bonnie. She is both a mother and a specialist in her field. She is honest, supportive and realistic. She gives honest advice, even if it is not always what you wish to hear. She can guide you through the maze that is commonly known as the family court. Thank you again Bonnie.

I am very thankful that Bonnie was recommend to me when I was faced with applying to the court system for the second time for family matters. Bonnie is knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and she graciously tailored her service to fit my situation.

I believe that Bonnie’s empathetic approach made it possible to resolve a lot of ongoing issues for us without causing further conflict. It was reassuring to feel that she really cared about the best outcome for everyone in our family. I feel more confident moving forward after using Bonnie’s services as she was extremely helpful in explaining each problem from a legal perspective and a ‘real-life’ perspective and guiding me to make well-considered decisions.

I highly recommend Bonnie for her personal unbiased service. She communicated brilliantly, showed empathy and was extremely patient in my very highly emotional circumstances.
Thr advice and legal jargon was explained simply and at no point did i feel inadequate asking questions. I was always met with respect by her and her team in order to find solutions to any issues that arose. The costs involved (as everyone is concerned about but never discuss) were very reaonable and the team at focus on family are mindful of this. Its refreshing when others see an opportunity to take advantage.

If you require any legal advice and service, i would recommend Bonnie time and time again to family and friends without hesitation. She understands families and the varying dynamics involved when children are concerned in any legal matter. I felt from the first meeting, in very safe and confident hands to deal with my legal needs.

Thank you Bonnie and team for making the rollercoaster of emotion less intense by providing solid advice and helping me every step of the way. Im truly grateful that i had an excellent outcome.
